Kullu is a town and a municipal council in the Kullu district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley of the Himalayas. By Train: The nearest railway station is located in Joginder Nagar, about 75 km from Kullu. From here, one can take a taxi or bus to reach Kullu.

By Road: Kullu is well connected to major cities like Delhi (520 km), Chandigarh (290 km), Shimla (256 km), Manali (40 km) and Dharamshala (140 km) by road. Regular bus services are available from these cities.
