Jalori Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated at an elevation of 10,800 feet (3,400 m) above sea level and is located between the towns of Shoja and Banjar in the Great Himalayan National Park. The pass is traversed by the Jalori La road, which is a winding mountain road that connects the two towns. The pass is surrounded by dense forests and offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas. The area is known for its scenic beauty and is a popular destination for trekkers and adventurers.


The pass is located on the ancient trade route between the towns of Kullu and Mandi. 1. Serolsar Lake: Located at a height of 3,300 meters above sea level, Serolsar Lake is a beautiful high-altitude lake situated close to Jalori Pass. It is surrounded by lush green meadows and tall Deodar trees, which makes it a popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers.

2. Raghupur Fort: Located on the western side of Jalori Pass, the Raghupur Fort is a historically important fortification. It was originally built by the Rajput rulers of Kullu and was later used by the Sikhs to keep the region safe from invaders.

3. Jibhi Waterfall: A beautiful waterfall cascading down from a height of about 150 meters, the Jibhi Waterfall is a popular tourist spot near Jalori Pass. It is located close to the town of Jibhi, which is situated in the Beas Valley.

4. Jalori Pass: The pass itself is a mesmerizing spot, located at an elevation of 3,223 meters above sea level. It consists of a series of switchbacks that offer spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

2. By Train: The nearest railway station to Jalori Pass is Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is about 45 km away. You can take a taxi or bus from the railway station to reach the pass. 

3. By Air: The nearest airport to Jalori Pass is Bhuntar Airport which is about 145 km away. You can take a taxi or bus from the airport to reach the pass. 

4. Hiking: For adventure enthusiasts, the scenic trek to Jalori Pass through the Shringi Rishi Temple and Saryolsar Lake is a popular option.
